	First time poster checking In Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Hello, my name is Sultan Bhargash, you might know me from CivFanatics forums.

I am new to Apollyton forums but look forward to getting to know new friends and hopefully running into familiar friends from CFC.

Besides hopefully hearing some hellos, I would love for y'all to use this thread to tell me what you like about Apollyton forums.

What does D L mean?

It means Double Login--you have more than one username on the site. The forum moderators dont like it.

(I don't know how to explain why it's wrong, but I'm sure someone will... not that it isn't wrong, it's very wrong...

just dont do it. It can get you banned )

My favorite feature of Apolyton (it only has one "l") is the Democracy Games, like, for example, I'm in the CivIII and CivIII PtW demogames right now. (And DG stands for Democracy Game too, if you see it.)

And as you can see its users have a great sense of humour...

Come on guys, be a little nicer to him!

I am really sorry if I have a double login, I may have registered here two years ago when I was into Civ2 and wanted to post scenarios, but I honestly don't remember... I would be happy if a moderator/administrator were to find my old ID and delete it from the records, as this is the ID I'd prefer to keep. I would love to know how the 6 million year old man knows that it is a doulbe login...

Honestly, I don't think I have ever posted here before, certainly not in Off topic. If I ever got an identity here before it was to post an Africa scenario a few years back but I think it was only on CFC that I posted.

Look over in CFC I have plenty of posts as Sultan Bhargash there... I never came to this site because I was trying to not have my hands super full with threads. My "hello" post was literally meant as a "I am moving away from CFC now, hello rival site" but my CFC problems are also being solved so I may not do much posting here.

Anyway, at least at Civfanatics, they know from cookies whether you have ever registered before, shouldnt that be the case here?

Thanks to everyone saying hello so far, me likee...

I'm waiting for my ban to be ended over at CFC but in the meantime it is nice to be welcomed. I have heard that Apolyton has more of a "homey" feeling than CFC, where newbies are often simply warned that they should post in the newbie questions thread (but some of us do take the time to say hello to someone who has less than ten posts).


DL, very funny, nice tradition.

I have heard other things about Apolyton- that flaming is easier to get away with and that there are "too many Europeans"- which would be welcome for me since I am one of the few and proud "embarrassed Americans" who wishes they could live in an enlightened place...

Different world, different approach.

Lots of nice people here, some not so nice.

A more European board by far, different view of the world, the head mod here is a golf nut, the #2 guy is not to be messed with (nor is the #1, BTW).

The admins are a greek and a canuck, the canuck is quite and effient, the greek is a trouble making troll.

This place has more words autocensored, and is a larger forum, far more active, but is also far more prone to having "characters".
