There is no turn chat. There is no point.

There was a thread a while ago. The consensus was that we would start on Dec 1 with normal turn times. Each team would have at least a few hours (up to a day) with their first turn(s). Next weekend would be a better time for an accelerated session.

Sounds good to me. Who is starting the game?
Technically, shouldn't it be notyoueither? After all The Gathering Storm is the team that was chosen to play first AFAIK.
Anyway, if you guys haven't agreed on the order yet I volunteer to randomize the order. If you agree then each team leader must choose a number between 1 and 7 (7 numbers for 6 teams and MarkG's one man team). As soon as everyone has selected a number, I'll run a randomizer and post the results here.

Why are people thinking to send me the game....
Togas stated that he would take our teams (rollplay) turn at around 9 PM Eastern Standard Time. That is still 4 hours away. Now, If needed, I offered my services, as by my understanding all we are doing is having one team start the game, play their first turn, then post it in a thread in the main directory. This will allow each team one week to look over their initial set up, and discuss things as hopeless starting locations, so on and so forth.

We on the Roll Play team will happily go last if that is what is necessary.

I am currently downloading the new patch and should be floating around here for the next couple of hours. Later.

No GodKing, we discussed each team having up to a day. There is no way for the game to progress beyond one team at a time.

Posting the save in the main forum at this point is a very bad plan. None of the positions are passworded until that team first opens the game at their turn. You get a prompt, asking for a password to be set. From that point on, you need that password to get access to that team's turn.

BTW, also... If the game is opened normally (as an SP game) the person doing so will get an eyefull of the next teams position.

We have to do this right, and there is only one 'right' way. Pass it one team at a time. Togas may play it at 9PM this evening. No problem.

Some good news:

I think either the 1.04f or the 1.14f patch fixed the bug that allowed PBEM games to be loaded as SP games.
