The above links have been updated. Sorry for the confusion today everyone. I hadn't played a MP game yet, so even after dropping the save game (Warmonger of the Warmongers 4000 BC.SAV) into my folder, I proceeded to load a file named Isabella of the Spanish, 4000 BC.SAV, because that was what I was expecting. It was test game I had started to check Title names for adaMada. Following that, we had a length debate about the Madrid site because none of our leaders were present. Anyways, in the end, everything turned out okay.

Hey !

Acording to the notyoueither post, IMHO it seems that we did some wrong while loading the game. According to him here is the rigth way to perform a Load Game :

PBEM loading instructions

Launch PTW
Select Multiplayer
Set Location to Local.

Click on Host
Under Game Type, select Play By EMail
Under Game Mode, select Load Game
Load the current save
Click on Launch

[The following should only be done by the player for a team.]
Do your turn
Click on the End Turn Oval
Save the Game

The main forum is reporting problems with the setting of the Accelerated Production by a team. Maybe this is the reason why.....

I've read our chat log again and it seems that we loaded the game through the wrong button ("Load Game" instead "Multiplayer")

The way we loaded the file is the one documented in the PtW manual. I've always loaded my PBEMs this way and never had any problem. NYE's way should be ok too, problems only occurs when you load while playing another game.

No, we loaded it correctly. One the originator of the game must load it the way NYE did, if I understand correctly, and even then, only for the first turn? Anyways, other teams reportedly did the same as us, with no problems resulting.

It appears as though Turn 1 may be re-done by teams, starting with Vox - the AP problem and the lack of a Vox passward can both be solved that way. We wouldn't have to replay our turn - Vox came after us.
