The Decision of Togas:
The majority of the tribal leaders believe that Astrologix should serve as the General of Spain. Several votes were given to me, but not a large enough amount to tell me that our families are uncertain. I shall cast my votes equally amongst the three candidates and declare that General Astrologix shall now serve the people of Spain as our Military Commander. He shall answer only to me, and shall have the following powers:
1) He may change the posted orders of any military unit, and he shall give their commanders guidelines to follow.
2) He shall request what military units are to be built and where. Such build requests will override the governors if I agree with him.
3) He shall command all captured cities and enemy units until I assign a new governor.
4) He shall make requests for roads, fortresses, and other improvements, and his requests shall be followed upon my approval.
Please join us now to celebrate this grand appointment. May I also strongly recommend to Astrologix that he seek the services of Senor PlagueRat and LzPrst, who have shown great cunning and skill in this contest, and who have loyally served the people of Spain for many years, and hopefully for many many more.

The following will be the positions under the Reign of the Wise King Justino:
General of the King's Army of Spain -- will command and manage the troops, ask for units to be built, and direct the units in accordance with the wishes of the King.
This position is presently held by Astrologix, and may or may not remain under his command during the rule of Justino.
Cheif Ambassador to the Crown -- will manage ALL diplomacy, ensure that every nation is promptly contacted and that all correspondence is posted and debated. He will appoint individual ambassadors to each nation, in accordance with the wishes of the King.
This position is open for consideration by all nobles of Spain.
Lord Chamberlain -- this position takes the place of the Most Trusted Advisor. The Lord Chamberlain is in charge of the court of the King and the head of all the advisors and generals. He is second in command and takes orders only from the King.
OliverFA serves in this role but may or may not remain in this role during the rule of Justino.
The Pope -- The Pope is the head of the Church, in charge of culture, happiness, and order in Spain. He runs the Inquisition and rules over disputes of faith and God's Law. The Pope is elected by the Cardinals of Spain. Each Region of Spain shall have a Cardinal, and each new region shall have a Cardinal appointed. Once the Pope dies, a new Pope shall be selected from amongst the Cardinals.
His Holiness Aidun Cian is the First Pope of Spain, as determined by the recent election amongst the Cardinals.
Royal Treasurer -- This individual would manage and maintain the Treasury, determining ways to increase our gold stores and ways to stop excess losses due to corruption and excess upkeep. This advisor would keep our goals and projects realistic and make sure that Spain's spending was responsible.
This is a new position and needs a Lord to accept it.
Senechel -- Defender of the King and the Royal Family. This individual watches for plots against the King and treasonous activities. He will be given control of the Swordsmen of Madrid, and shall rename these units The Royal Guard.
Davout has served in this role in the past and shall continue to serve in this role.
Master of Royal Projects -- Will oversee all building projects within Spain and direct the efforts of our serfs toward the improvement of Spain.
Roadcage currently holds this position and may or may not continue to hold it during the reign of Justino.
All ambassador positions will be appointed (or retained) once a Cheif Ambassador is appointed.
All Lords of Spain should PM me to let me know what job you want, or if you want to retain your current job.
New jobs and titles will be given out shortly, as I hear from all of you.

As the Chief Ambassador to the Crown, I make the following decree after much thought and carful consideration:
The Ambassador's that represent Spain to the other nations on our world will be as follows:

I want each Ambassador, at their earliest convienence, to create a thread titled "Foreign Affairs Office for insertteamnamehere"
This will be where diplomatic discussions concerning each team will take place. The Thread "Diplomacy: Reports, Instructions, PMs" will still be used, however, discussion of those 'official' messages will be carried out in these new threads. Links should be made in these threads to the 'official' messasges that the discussions may pertain too. No discussions should take place in the "Diplomacy: Reports, Instructions, PMs" Thread; only 'official' messages should be posted.
