In my valley in Los Piraneos, we have a tradition that the true name of something can sometimes be revealed with a man’s last words. Therefore I suspect that Thud revealed the true name of the river is the River Glub. Or perhaps the true name of the Spirit of the River is Glub.
But since Glub is so difficult to say for anyone but a barbarian slave, I hope the Spirit of the River will not be angry if we call it the Tajo.

I like Astrologix names. Perhaps we could mix real names with invented ones (like with Togas Hill).
The only thing in which I disagree is the sea. I would call it Mar Mediterraneo of Mare Nostrum is it's a real sea, or Oceano Atlántico if it is an ocean.
