How Old Are They? Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

How old are they?

I was just kinda curious, so I did some quick math and came up with the effective ages of the various faction leaders at planetfall – assuming that none of them aged to any real degree during the 40 years in cryosleep, we get:

Zak: 66
Dee: 35
Yang: 61
Aki: 32
Domai: 49
Morgan: 55
Santiago:34
Miriam: 46
Lal: 54
Roze: 31
Sven: 42
Cha’Dawn: Unknown
Aliens: Unknown

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Looking over the results, it does show that Firaxis clearly thought that females need to be young and good looking to be respected and authorative, while males can get away being older and still be sexy.

With the exception of Miriam (who everybody hates and nobody respects anyways) being 4 years older than Sven, every single woman is older than every single man listed above.

Heck, all women except for Miriam are below 40.
And it's always the men who were technically superiors to the women, and not vice versa.

Both Dee and Aki seem incredibly young, considering only the best and brightest and most experienced scientists were selected for that trip.
But, then again, they're both cute, so they can get away with it.

It's entirely possible that the Longetivity Vaccine was already discovered back on earth. But due to the lack of existing infrastructures and resources on the Planet, LV can not be applied to the general population. However, faction leaders reserve some luxury to have the longetivity treatment done right after the planet fall.

Full PM-box? Change here!

Ya know, in one of the interludes, they tell you how immortality existed, but you'd be stuck in a tube for 3 weeks outta every year or somehting like that. The longevity vaccine and stuff would eliminate the need for that.

It is kind of ironic that in even the most ideal factions like the Drones or the PK the longevity vaccine is reserved only for the faction leaders.
