I, Roberto Ninot, am honored to be bestowed the power of Lord of the Palace, and Governor of Madrid.

The Great One Togas will not be dissapointed in how his favorite city is run.

I ask all of the citizens of the city to come here, and air their wishes, thoughts, and hopefully rarely, their complaints, about the city.

Mind you all, I run this town, but I will not be too bullheaded to listen.

Governor, I have a complaint:
Just can't find a place to sit quitely, and archive the letters I got from a scribe down far east. (I was in Egypt once, and learned reading some papyrus scrolls and glyphs)
It's so noisy around here.
Well, anyway we should develop our own written-language soon...


Also, we need to hold games here!
But that's noisy too, I guess?

And you should arrange tomata-splashing parties w/ sangria for us at your residence every weekend!

However, I currently have no one under employment for the city who is smart enough to create a "language" like you speak of.

I like the idea of games. Maybe we could assign a field for that, untill a better idea comes along?

I envision a kind of building, to pitch prisioners of war or poor people to fight against beasts or other warriors, a place all made of stone, in a square shape(we donŽt know weel yet).
Of course this would require a veeery large rock.
By the way, IŽd like to present you with this fine pot of roman wine, so that you can appreciate it in your new cave...

Yeah, I liked to play with bulls when I was a child.

My Cousin, Domingo Ninot got hit by one, and it was not pleasant.

I suggest some kind of shield, like a protective cape.

My sons report to me that we have several VERY ferocious bulls in the herd. A slave was killed by one when it gored him and then trampled him to death. We must become masters of these beasts. I would be thrilled to see our strongest warriors put into a pen to fight against one. This could be more entertaining than watching Senor Calamari fall down a waterfall to his death.

If the great one desires to see people falling down waterfalls more frequent, perhaps this could be made into a regular sport as well?

Perhaps, some sort of Diving?

Senor Hernan Calamari, my father, is an excellent diver...whoops...

I could, being a rich man, make some special arrangements here.

Firstly, I could present to the Palace selections of our bulls for these bull-fighting games. Also, I could have rules written out for this.

WHAT THE??! Noooooo! Oh. Shoot.

Well, Sancho Panza, my scribe, whipped his red hanky out to wipe his nose while watching the bulls. Unfortunately, he is now...well, you don't want to know.

WAIT A SECOND!! The red hanky seems to excite the bull...watch this...

(tap tap tap, flings hanky in the air, the bull runs at Hernan the Younger, who moves aside...the bull whacks against wall and gets a concussion)

Why, this is it! This could be...the NATIONAL SPORT OF SPAIN! Bull-fighting!!

Brilliant!!

(Now all I have to do is slap a great big patent on the sport, and make it our property, so you have to pay to watch it done...except for his Lordship, Togas, of course, and the officials...)

2) I could arrange for our prisoners to be taken from the jail and tossed over the waterfall for fun. If they survive, they can be released...or killed.
