	Lux Invicta's Website Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Hey all,
I've taken it upon myself (hope it's OK) to make a site for the Lux Invicta's files. It's not as much a website as just a file listing. We might make it pretty sometime, but atm it's just about getting people the files.

The site can be accessed 2 ways, normal HTTP way and FTP for those who want to upload the files.

The site is http://lux.aomgamer.com.
You will be prompted for a username and password, use the following:
Username: lux
Password: [password removed by the archive]

If people want, I can change the password to something else, like the password for the save or something.
Anyways, on there are screens and saves (At my post, just the starting position screen, but saves coming soon once I get the FTP info to people).

I am waiting on my server guys to setup the FTP account so that is why I haven't posted it here.

I thought this would be easier to have one central place for our team files and also save some email bandwidth. I would like to know if people like this idea or not.

If you have any questions I'm happy to answer them.

I'll probably need this, being the player of the game I'm sure you guys will want screenshots, so I'll need somewhere to put them to appease the uncleansed masses.

BFM has sent over 3 files which I have uploaded to the site.

BC 4000 - before.SAV - Save game
BC 4000 - before.jpg - Pic of starting position
BC 4000 - VoxControli.SAV - Vox Controli save showing THEIR starting position!

Ok, so I will remove it.
Now, I have got the FTP info up, if you wish to upload files use the following info:
server: ftp.aomgamer.com
username: lux@aomgamer.com (must include all of it)
password: [password removed by the archive]
It is easy to use, all saves are to be put in the saves folder and ditto with the screens. Any other files can just go in the base directory. All you need to do is upload the files, it will automatically show up on the site once up.
I would just like to know how many people would be using this?

ok seeing the screenshot, we seem to have moved toward the goody hut... wasnt the point of moving to avoid the goody hut?

Trip: no need - I included it in the Game Status thread.

Calc II - the move was not made with the location of the hut in mind. It was made to move to find the best city site (although we don't all agree on the best location).

I agree with Calc, actually. I realize that we want to mine the hill eventually, but our defense would have been higher on the hill and we would have saved a turn. Also, if we perform a palace jump, which is reasonably likely, we could have relocated the capital to where it is now, anyway, and this would almost certainly have happened before we'd want to mine that hill.

Ok, the problems we were experiencing with the website FTP has now been fixed. Anyone may now ftp in to upload files.

I had trouble uploading also, maybe a proper ftp program unlike the www browser will work.

I was using 2 different (proper) ftp programs. Seems the permissions on the sub-folders were not set.
