Well.... In general, I agree. We shouldnt accept everyone who wants to join. But completely blocking new members seems to be too radical.

hmmmm - gotta think about this one. Being new myself - it seems that it would be hypocritical to block new folks. But part of me agrees with jon - let me mull this over.

At a minimum, I would agree with limiting the numbers - 8 is not bad. I like the smaller team. Fits with how we want to run things.

Maybe we should have a foreign advisor.

The last post in our introduction thread has someone asking for the best person to contact. I agree we should hammer out all deals amongst ourselves, but we do need someone who can respond to e-mail contacts.

So - do we remain the Vox Six, or move to the Samurai Seven? (I know - wrong civ, but great flick).

Jon - I've been thinking about it. I joined this team because it was small. I would be happy to keep it at six -even if that seems un-neighbourly, or add one, or add two - hey - maybe we will get bored with each other and we should welcome the new mix.

I say leave it at 6, max 7.

Jon - do you have someone who wants in now? Do you know them?

Another point - this is a demo game - albeit competitive and I would anticipate fun - but part of the demo is different approaches to team play. The other teams are large, and generally have infrastructues and positions and rules. We are fairly loose. I like that. I also like that each of us will get to play a fair bit. So - we are different, we should stay that way.

So - my vote is to stay at 6, unless you are under pressure Jon to let someone in - in which case 7.

Beta does bring up a valid point of having the membership as an odd number (no ties in voting)...but I'm happy with the 6 of us.
