1170AD with us. I have just came home from a dinner with Soren Johnson and his family (they are in Prague) and do not feel like spending two more hours playing the turn. I have a squash match tomorrow morning, so I will most probablly play the turn in about 12 hours only.

I will have a quick look now and post if there is anything important.

The only important thing to report is that GS is now in the modern era. We are ~13 turns behind. Amphibious Warfare still not discovered by anyone. Flight with us (and everybody else).

Well, he had his family with him, so it was much less Civ than what it would be otherwise, I guess - and when we got to talking about Civ it was more on a general level, like explaining what civ and the world around it is like to his mum and dad. But he is a great guy and his family is an extremely nice company, too. It was a pleasant evening.

Those two are definitely very nice places to visit in Central/Eastern Europe I know, I've seen them both. I would imagine that he is going to see Wien and maybe Berlin as well.

As for visiting Erfurt: I've never heard about this town until coming to work here The nearby Weimar (20 km) is much better known, even though it is much smaller.

I believe it also has a lot to do with his parents - they seem to travel a lot and are quite adventurous. They mostly stay out of the main tourist routes, being interested in learning about the "true face" of the country they are visiting.

All four of them drove through Czechia for few days, then went to Slovakia, then Hungary, and then back to Prague. Soren and his brother were supposed to fly back to the US then, and their parents to spend one more week in Poland, I believe.

EDIT: Everything still quiet, but "it's coming". Six marines on GS' rooster (but none for GoW!)

FYI... turn report posted, savegame available, but I am going to forward the save only after preparing the plan for the next turn. Have a look and point out anything I might have missed.

1220AD save with us. Still nothing, but it seems GS will set sail next turn (20 marines + they have upgraded almost all their galleons + we can see a stack of 4 transports along their coast).

I will play the turn in about four hours, after coming back from a squash match.

I have almost been losing my hope... but 1240AD save is finally with us.

It's now official: GS missed their chance. They are not on their way to our shores and thus will be met with (at least modest) tank forces after landing on our beaches.

GS is building marines as if there was no tomorrow... 36 of them on their rooster.

I am currently busy with my business stuff, but I will play the turn this afternoon (~3pm GMT, I guess).

Hope everybody interested has gotten the save - have a look and post your findings/suggestions. Keep in mind, please, that the Extreme Tank Production plan as posted in the dedicated thread overrides the turn plan as posted in the Next Turn Plans thread (I somehow forgot to update it - sorry for that).
