maybe they changed the science slider to reroute the gold into science and be as close as possible to a 0 gpt balance. After all, with all their gold, this wasn't such a big problem for them.

I suspect it has something to do with the messed lux renewal with Vox. They offered us 1gpt in 1110AD, hoping to set a gpt-for-lux deal (replacing the dye gift deal), but I was unable to counter with our dyes (was not an option yet). So I simply dismissed the trading screen by hitting ESC.

I later sent tech, workers, and gold to Vox as planned, bringing up a new/blank trading screen. Unfortunately, Rhotherill reported that 1gpt had eventually become part of the deal. I think this unusual event triggered the bug.

I am going to PM Trip with a request to review the save. If he approves it, I will ask the last turn (1110AD) to be replayed from Vox - and tell Rhoth to NOT send that 1gpt to avoid troubles.

And as if this was not enough... our gem lux deal with ND has not been correctly terminated, it seems. We got the gems in 910AD (Turn 207), so it should run out after this turn (1120AD, Turn 228). But it will not. Darekill PMed me yesterday that it was possible to fix the problem with game crashing on "Active trade details" by going to a fake war for 1 turn. I believe we should use the replay to get rid of this, too. I have had a look and we would be able to use a couple of entertainers to get away with just three imported luxuries - the cost would actually be only few food and gold (no production delays at all).

OK, guys, good news.

Idiot me.

After checking with Rhothaerill, I have found out I must have mistakenly done the diplo/trade stuff with Vox twice last turn, sending 220g once and 400g the other time. Not really sure how it happened, I would swear I did not do it, but that's apparently what happened.

The gold was not lost, I just sent it to Vox. You know I am not keeping records. (reminds me of the song from Evita, about money rollin' in and rollin' out...).

I have PMed Darekill about the lux bug and am waiting for his answer to play the turn and pass the save on.

Just playing 1150AD. Nothing extremely important at the first glance, methinks. The good news is that we have started rising on the powergraph (and had no builds messed by pollution this turn). The bad news is that GS added 8 new tanks since the last turn (though still no marines, nor bombers for them).

Poly choked on my quick post this morning and I had to run, so it's only now I am going to play the turn. Briefly:

7 new tanks for GS, but little of anything else. No marines, nor bombers yet. Amphibious Warfare not discovered yet.

Pollution messed the infantry build in Tarzania - I am going to switch the build to a police station.

Otherwise, everything seems to be on the right track. Everything still quiet.
