	I have a friend who just got SMAC Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I was watching him play yesterday and I classified him as:

-Expansionist: 6 bases within the first 50 turns

-Peacekeeper: willing to kick a$$ if need be

-Upgrades defenders only when attacked: 2265, all scout partols at all bases when he is attacked he says then he'll upgrade.

-Pacifist: Once he made pacts with all the AI players, no kidding! Won the game diplomaticly

So far in his game he seems to be going well but I will need you people to give advice (Lord Velociryx I'mm looking in your direction) to help my best friend become good at this game. Thanx for your help!!

Hey man.....sounds like your friend is off to a fine start. Against the AI, I agree....there's generally not much cause to upgrade from your trance scouts (except in border bases perhaps....just for the deterrant factor), and 6 bases in 50 years is not ultra fast, but it's a decent clip....if he's doing that, being smart with his formers, and keeping up with his prototyping, I'd say he's gonna do just fine....

No, I haven't taught him about supply crawlers yet , and he has all of his scouts and formers fully automated. I'd say he'll do fine but I'm a bit worried about my apprentice when he goes to war, he shares borders with yang. But I hope his pact with him holds.
