The matter of the question is rather irrelevant I think. It's not like anyone's going to change their vote. This is a mere formality. I'm more than aware that the mood is still anti-FM.

As for the timeout.....I could've sworn I put set the limit. Oh well, again, it won't really impact on the result now, will it?

This is directly taken from the UN Constitution. And based on this same constitution, and as correctly stated by "Unskilled Labour" Pandemoniak ( not offence intended there Pandemoniak ), this poll is totally unconstitutional.

The first and most important reason is that this poll does not have a timeout.

And saying that "I could've sworn I put set the limit." is certainly no excuse.

What proof do we have that you did not made it on purpose ? And if it was really an error, you would have cancelled it or at least indicated an "official" message indicating the intended timeout of the poll.

Besides, being director of SE, you must be from the first ones to make sure that these polls are correctly done. If you are unable to make proper polls, you should resign your commision as Director of SE.

The words "Yes" and "No" are incorrectly used. "Yes" and "No" have an 'absolute' meaning to them, yet some of the choice have a 'relative' meaning.

Besides, 3 choices "Yes" for one "No" is clearly biased.

Yes, NOW. If we go FM now, and switch spending to 40% economy, 20% Psych and 40% Research, then we'll send several bases into GAs and the only base which will experience Drone problems will be Pandemomium, which will require a Doctor for the time being. Our income and research will increase from 24 ECs and 17 turns to next discovery to 53 ECs and 1 turns.

I would suggest to Archaic to start a new poll, with the following question:
When should we switch to Free Market Economy?
and with the options:
Now
As soon as possible, under what conditions?
Eventually, under what conditions?
Never
We should switch to something else, specify.
Abstain

And don't even sound biased (whether you mean it or not) in your post, and make sure you specify a time limit.

The questions and answers are just suggestions, but a new poll is certainly necessary if this poll is to be taken serious.
You need to have an official poll in your favor if you want to change the SE table, this isn't an official poll

accidentally not putting a timeout is no reason to have someone resign. neither is posting a biased question on the poll (though that's clearly forbidden...)

No excuse for not making these poll with a minimum of 'professionalism'. I do not think that making a clear, nice poll is such a time-consuming task.

The longer the timeout, the more time Archaic have to push for FM before the end of his term and use its new party for that.

I never said He should resign on this sole small incident but that he should be more thorough when making them. I may be relatively new there but this is this poll is the only one of this kind I have seen when checking the boards.

We sure can forget a mistake now and then, we all make some. But ,again, better make sure that these mistakes won't happen too often

Basically, the whole intend of my post was to express my disapointment from someone who, while declaring himself as having 'superior' skills ( he is probably good) does not take the time to properly make simple things.

Here TKG taste this .... it is the new Xenobrew flavor in beer, that ought to relax everybody.

Hell we all need to ... someone to join me to get a few beer in the recreation common ?
