OOC: can PTW save be leaded into SP 1.29f Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

I'd like to know if it's possible to load the PTW save into a regular CivIII 1.29f game? If so, I can at least look at some things until I get the PTW Game.

Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I'm afraid it can't. PTW has a few new items in the save file (new civs, units...) which the original Civ3 wouldn't know how to interpret.

I haven't tried to, as I got PtW on Nov 8 and installed it immediately, but I guess it wouldn't.

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I'm mainly looking to being able to look at things and maybe make some choice Screen Shots.

As for getting the Game, when my budget allows it, I'll be getting it. I'm currently on Unemployment and have a VERY limited budget. My DP & I are starting to sell some stuff on E-bay, but it's taking time getting built up (PM me if you want more Info on that, so that I'm not "spamming" the forum). It's at least paying for our DSL connection.....

It doesn't work. I downloaded the save that Arnelos had posted and right off the bat, would not load into 1.29f. Sigh.

You can use Señor Dejon's screenshots, they should be on some thread somewhere. And I can use my Angelfire account to post some shots, I dunno.
