	European patch 1.14f Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

I have just downloaded and installed patch 1.14f for the european english version of PtW from the IG-DE site.

The first time I ran the file it just uninstalled some of the existing files, mostly scenarios. I ran it again and it appears to have patched the game. It comes up with the same copy protection screen as the original game and says 1.14 on the main screen.

I have only had time to load a previous saved game and play a few turns but it seems to be OK.

How many versions of PTW are there? Are they compatible? How can I tell which version I got?

It looks like he has the same version as sold elsewhere in Europe thusfar but........ he seems to have found the european patch using the IG-DE site.

Well, I do not need it anymore. I got another patch long ago from ....... and that is working great. No cd needed in the drive anymore.

If it comes up with a blue screen that says

Safedisk Macrovision

it is a european english version like mine. The main menu screen should say 1.01 in the bottom left hand corner as that is the version on the CD. You then need to add the patch from the IG-DE site to bring it up to 1.14 (the current version).

There is another thread in this forum (titled "Is there a UK patch", I think) that has a link that should take you to the patch page on that site.

How comes that apolyton still isn't hosting the european patch?
