	Gathering Storm National Anthem? Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Sounds interesting, yes?

Well I have one, written by a few buddies of mine who are in some very, very talented musical acts, and I guess you could say I inspired them. To give you some history on this, in my spare time, I'm a producer for my own recording studio, and have traveled around quite a bit, helping to record bands to submit to labels and etc, but this project was very different. I'm pretty excited about it, actually, and would love for you guys to hear it.
It's a classical piece (which is not totally the style of the guys I recorded it with), and I think it could be really appropriate if we used it as our "national anthem", just so we can say we have one.....what do you guys think?
Anyone want to hear it?

Should I post it in the main PTW thread, or send the mp3 to our address at softhome.net?

I'll post it in our email, and we can decide from there what to do. To put it in a greater perspective, think about what would happen if someone made a movie about our civilization. THIS could very well be the opening soundtrack music.....

	Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Anyone know of a good way for me to post the zip file to the Gathering Storm mailbox? The file is somewhat large...about 3.7 megs, and I don't an account that can attach an image that large.

Any ideas?

you can always transmit it via msm or ICQ or AIM or whatever. or you could zip it and put it on alva's website.

Is it mp3??

Zipping mp3 files, doesn't make them much smaller, i'm affraid.....
(you could split it, i guess...)

Alva, telenet accepts files up to 5MB over e-mail, I thought. At least they did a few years back...

The softhome account will accept this file, though it's best if you sent it to Alva first so he could put it on his site because files that are sent through Email are ~25%-30% bigger due to UUEncoding.

Well I noticed indeed that zipping the mp3 does not make it any smaller unfortunately.


I'll have to send it through mirc or something, what do you think Alva? Think you can be around to recieve the file from me sometime tomorrow or in the next day or so?

I was listening to it more, and it kind of reminds me of part of the movie soundtrack to The Abyss, or umm...I could see Lord of the Rings using something like it. Sounds quite epic. I'm glad I actually even have my own copy of it, the other guys who I made it with had hoarded it for their own evil designs!

Should I just post it in the main thread for a few days, then take it off so it doesn't take up too much 'poly server space? I'd still like you guys to hear it.

And besides, maybe the other teams will see how cool we are when we have a GS Theme Song....

I think Apolyton has a limit of half a meg on file sizes, doesn't it?

Apolyton does have a .5mb limit.
