	How Do I do this? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Which file do I ediot the units?
Better still, how do I remove the sea coloney pod from the game?
And does anyone know if there was a mod made that cut down on the amount of units (SMAC-x is the greatest game in the Civ series, but to much damn stuff).

Maybe this should be in the creation forum, but then again this is not about creation and its about help


But just to make sure, any tips on how to win economicly? (I ain't so good with this game, there is so much damn stuff going on )

I can't answer any of these questions but i suggest you also post it in AC Dreating - if for no other reason to make sure that someone who does know the answer sees it. Might be interesting to compare the answers.

I assume you mean the 64 units slots clog up really fast?
If so, then try disable the "auto-unit design" in one of the preferences menu's (shortcut SHIFT-A or preferences from one of the submenu's).

If the auto design is off, only basic units are automatically available (land formers, probe team etc.), but you can manually design all other units at will.
So no more useless units which you would not use but take up space in the 64 available design slots.

Must try that when I next play (will likely be tonight - been away for almost a week so am dying to get back to my own comp). My unit list ALWAYS gets overclogged with ridiculous units - especially recently, when obsoletes just don't seem to get redesigned and just sit there with ridiculously weak weaponry and armour. Most annoying. Especially when governors start randomly building them. Grr.
