, its going to be a couple months more before PTW is going to be fully patced , and at least six to eight months before its going to be finished for MAC os , .....

so thats X-mas 2003 before we get it , .....

ones again the gaming industry forgets us MAC users , ....

Not that I mind that much. I'd rather see the Westlake team wait until Firaxis fixes PtW before they port it. I don't want to get the same broken expansion pack that the PC crew got.

It shouldn't matter that the Civ III Mac Editor will run only on OS10.x.x; from what I understand, any computers purchased from Apple after March 2003 will no longer carry the Classic environment — just OS10.x.x. But if you purchased a Mac before then, both X and Classic should be there.

Does that sound right?

Yeahh, but then I need to get new photoshop, new adobe apps, new ms office, etc. unless I always flip between classic and X. I heard that classic in X is really slow.

Heh. My iMac dates from May 1999 ... I was going to replace it earlier this year, but changed my mind, what with all the stuff going on regarding Civ III and iMac upgrades/new releases. I hear they're going to introduce a 19-inch iMac soon ... might splurge and get that, along with Civ III.
