I don't think I can keep going with this.

I founded this game. I was (sort-of ) the first Commissioner, one of the first Justices, the first person to successfully amend the constitution, among other things. But...my heart's just not in it anymore. I apologise for the f***up this will cause, but I just don't think I can keep going the way things are.

I'm burnt out. I just don't feel like doing gaming-related stuff anymore. It's all come on rather suddenly, too. I pulled out of some stuff on another forum a week or two, quit the C2DG a couple of days ago, and though I still kinda wanted to stay on here (and tried to), I think it's best if I resign, and give someone else a go. I don't really have the enthusiasm to do a decent job. When I said I'd stand for Commissioner again, my holidays were just about to start, and I was really keen to get all involved with this again with all the spare time I'd have. But...I don't know. Something snapped.

Once again, I'm sorry for causing this. There's plenty of people who I'm sure could take over - DBTS, Maniac, TKG, Lemmy...just to name a few.

I hereby resign as both Commissioner and Justice. I'll probably hang around a little bit...maybe I'll be back in full some day.

At the end of November I had also a period I thought about quitting about every activity I had started, partly due to the Statistics & Historical Critique exams that were coming up. That's part of the reason I did a resignation as DTC in an impulse. So for December I settled for a less demanding position, governorship. And now I'm doing just fine. So if you ever feel like wanting to stay involved, but don't want to have to organize lots of polls etcetera, I recommend you go for governor in January.

As the current chief inspector, this would be a nice promotion. Also it would increase my microkred income, plus I can get to wear a wig from time to time.
