do not trade warrior code! we are the only civ who has it, and it is an important military tech, it would allow our enemies to build archers, and it would help them to build horsemen, we shouldn't share it at all, the less well armed our enimies are the easier it will be to conquer them

We have to get Ceremonial Burial, and I would prefer for free. It will allow us to build temples and MORE THAN DOUBLE the tiles available to our cities to work.

We need our cities to have a wide range of tiles so they use the most productive ones for building a large number of units.

I don't want to have to waste our science going for it if we can get it for free before the other four civs trade the Demogyptians Masonry.

Then maybe we can trade the Wheel for Bronzeworking down the road.

They already have Masonry? Then they are in contact with another team (one that has Masronry: Lego, GS, LI, Vox). I think we need to get something from them. But remember, if we trade them WC, they will turn around and trade it to who ever gave them Masonry.

ND gave us ceremonial burial for a tech to be determined later. This may be warrior code, or the wheel. What do people think? I like giving them warrior code better than the wheel.

If we trade warrior code, they will resell it. They will get more out of the deal than we would.
If we are the only civ with warrior code, it is much more valuable than just 1 tech for it. We know it...they know it.

Ask for a deal like this...
We will sell you warrior code, and authorise them to resell it on our behalf.
Any tech they get from it, they must also gift to us.

ie...We both benefit from our Unique Tech

If they make additional $$ on the trades, they keep it.
But any tech they get, they gift to us.

We can do the deal but get agreement from them who they are selling to. If they only have one other civ contact, tell them to get a few more before reselling it.

Plus ask them for directions to their Civ and the Civ they have made contact with. It's not as good as trading maps, but at least we know who our immediate neighbours are.

Somthing we can offer for it.... No Aggression and baby eating towards their civ for ?? rounds.

Just my random thoughts ....

I havent voted in the above poll yet, because I think we can structure a better deal than just a one for one tech.

Or perhaps the deal has already been done.

Ever heard of literacy?

Until then here are some alternatives for
60 shields:

1)Settler + 3 warriors
2)3 archers, 2 horsemen or 3 swordsmen take a city.

With #1 or #2 we'll be able to build 2 libraries later
With #2 we also gain the population of the city.

Let's get alphabet, writing, literacy & CoL(if we need courthouses)
