	war ? Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

why is it that no other countrys ever go to war with each other ? (well sometimes they do, but its never longer than for about 5 minutes) ??!?!?

the main reason i play with more civilizations is so that they can destroy each other, yet in all the time i've been playing only once has a civilization actually destroyed another the only reason i can think of is that all the civs are around about as powerful as each other and therefore are unwilling to start a war with each other but then why do they attack me even when i'm as powerful as them ?!?!?!??!!?!? HELP ! (i normally play on the second to easiest level does that affect it ? )


another pretty stupid question.... how do i upgarde my units ? (and yes i do have the technology), pls reply

upgrading units: do you have the needed resources? if you do, go to a city that has barracks and wait one turn. then push the lightning button that appears in bottom center of your screen. answer yes to question "do you want to upgrade?". it takes a little gold, but you do have few extra, don't you?

	Increase the size of your Attachments

Upgrading units is also possible by selecting one of the units in a city with barracks and then press ctrl-shift-U. In that case all similar units in cities with barracks will be upgraded (if you have the money, the technology and the resources).

Regarding civs not destroying eachother: I just am in a gaim where two civs were destroyed by the other ones but...... it indeed looks like they prefer to destroy us humans. Can you blame them. We generally win, don't we?

got another question now, how do i get my elite soldiers to become leaders? i have the technology but even though they've won about 3-4 battles since becoming elite they just wont change to leaders ?

If I remember well you have a chance of 1 out of 16 to get a leader out of an elite battle so there is hope .

During my games AI civs are more often at war with each other than with me (I am a peaceful builder).
For example, in my present game, Egypt destroyed Germany and Greece, France destroyed Rome and Russia, Japan destroyed England and India, Chinese destroyed Iroquois. It's a Monarch game on a huge map, 16 civs.

The level you're playing at seems to influence the aggression level of the other civs. Maybe if you went up a notch or two you might see more wars.

1 of 3 reasons:

1. You are only fighting Barbarians, no Great Leades are generated fighting Barbs.

2. You already have a Great Leader that you haven't used to Rush Build or turn into an army.

3. Poor dumb luck.
