I need to make sure my ideas of directions are the same a s everyone else’s.
For example, if we look at the current (3550) Madrid turn,
N of Madrid is a hill
NE is the Madrid Expedition
E is the cow
SE is a small forest
S is the forest on the other side of the river with a deer
SW is the hill on the other side of the river
W is a grassland
NW is a hill

3450 (i.e. 1 turn after 3500)
The Magyars will go SW to the next hill (S being the silk and W being a desert).

3400 (i.e. 2 turns after 3500)
It looks as if there are hills both S and SW of the next turn’s hill.
If there are two hills, go S.
If there is only one hill, go to it, whether it is S or SW.
If there are no hills, go S.
My general orders will be to remain within sight of the sea and determine what is the shape of the land we are on.
The Magyars believe that in the sea there are spirits which give them strength, and so if they go to a place where they can’t see it, they will sicken and die. That also explains why they never attacked our city: we were too far inland.

i.e. Turn 1 after 3400
SW
along the hills continuing in the same direction
3300
i.e. Turn 2 after 3400
SW (for now)
along the hills continuing in the same direction

Olá dictatõre...
After scibbling this 3400BC map an obelisk we put up here on top of Sierra Panthera, (as we just named the peak),
we can see that we will avoid entering this jungle once again,
if we head our noses to the west. So that's good!

Great Lord Togas, if Señor Dejon can't make it, I hereby steps forward to lead the Madrid Expedition towards the northern lands. Madrid may be the most beautiful city in the world, but an adventurer like me needs to leave the comfort of the city and conquer new worlds for the glory of España.

Togas - Senor Dijon Dejon is accompanying the Madrid Expedition, but is not responsible for their direction, as far as he knows. Senor Crousto Mendoze is willing to do the task.

So, just to clarify, if Crousto takes the Madrid Expedition, the responsibility for our three warrior units are as follows:
TEG - ThePlagueRat
Magyar Warriors - pikesfan
Madrid Expedition - Crousto
If these people have not posted orders for turns when we receive the save, any specific or standing order by Togas will be followed, then any same by his Most Trusted Advisor. Failing all of the above, the person playing the turn may decide.
How does this sound to everyone?

Those hills the Magyars are on are quite ominous. Who knows what lies at the end of them? They could become a highway for invaders to Madrid, one that is hard to throw people off of or even defend from. We must get city #3 built to guard the hills.

[Polaris Winterius] I´d like to say that if there is any group of warriors ready I would be quite happy and honored to lead them as comander.

The Magyars pointed out to me a gigantic school of fish. Every seventh day they have a tradition of eating nothing but fish. They say it angers the "gods" to eat anything else on Fishday.

We will keep going SW. I think I see hills to the S and NW, and a forest between them. Let us see if there are more hills before we change direction. Does the Desert Beyond the Coast end? Where are the mouths of the rivers in El Valle de los Torros?

W along the hills looking over the Valley of the Spices
or
NW towards the unknown southern part of the Valle de los Toros
whichever is considered more important to know.
