GM COMMENTS:

Well, this I didn't expect! Japan has actually NMR'd four centers from victory, making the horse race a little tighter, eh? I hope that the Japanese player will respond quickly to me to confirm intent to continue the game. I didn't want to do this to a power so close to victory, but the rules are the rules. Reminders and grace periods were employed, and the deadline was still missed.

Holland has had it's last remaining unit removed from the map, but technically as long as the dutch maintain control of a SC, the nation is considered a surviving power (and may vote).

Japan's F Java Sea has been auto-retreated to Borneo for the sake of expediency. Japan if you desire to take this retreat OTB, please let me know ASAP. Otherwise Fall 1877 orders are due Tuesday, December 17 @ 23:59 EST.
