Ahhh, the good ol' days of political machinations.

How those days were filled with intrigue and mystery, when anything was possible.

At one point Linney (Timeline) and I agreed to disband the DIA and UFC, but the actual follow-through to this agreement never materialized. However, after that point, the parties simply lost power altogether, so their existance was merely a technicality, like it has been ever since.

In your disscussion of the history of Apolytonia's poilitical parties, you forgot my party!

The Culture Party!

The Culture Party was founded by me near the beginning of the game. We supported a peaceful builder strategy with little war and wanted our priority to be building up our culture. The Culture Party had 2 members when it merged with several other parties to form the DIA, which was some 23 hours after the Culture Party was formed.

The Culture Party is an important part of Apolytonia's history. (see my signature for more details.)

People of Apolytonia: Right now we face a 5 front war against the Zulu, French, Aztecs, Germans and Japanese peoples, aldo we have an alliance with China against France.

I recommend that Apolytonia (The Civ) maintain a cautious stance with regards to Euclidia (The Civ). They are after all playing as Persians who we drove from the grand basin of Abananaba Major in a long and hard fought campaign under the watchful eye of the Prophet Aggie.

I have visited their forum and find it well organized. I have also examined their 400 ad save and note that they are playing a Monarchy level game and are currently in a bit of a pickle. They are at war with numerous civs. They have been trying to actually study techs with high Sci (80%) in the Ancient age and as a result do not have the funds to participate fully in the trading game. They are out of contact with 4 civs known to all others, and have apparently never traded for a map. I suspect that they do not realise how far behind they are tech wise since only the last required tech of the Ancient Age shows on their diplomacy screen. When they study or trade for that tech, I fear that a cascade of Middle Ages techs will appear on their opponents side of the diplomacy ledger.

Well, they should suspect they are behind since Sun Tzu's and Sistine are already under construction by several opponents as depicted by the Advisors screen.

And in addition they are mired in Despotism while Germany and Zululand are Monarchies and all other known Civs are Republics. All clearly available from the Advisors screen.

We should send a few Missionaries of the Great Banana to show them the way.

We have reports that we made peace with the japanese (wierd how we are ar war with the same people), and we also taken a city from them, aldo is far from our culture and is reigned by corruption.
We are only at war with the aztecs and it will soon end
