	How many release dates are there? Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Ok people IM confused. I have electronics boutique telling me its coming out on the 19th December. I have some rumour its getting held back until early to mid january and NOW I hear that it is coming out on Febuary 28th? 2003??!! Getting annoyed here, can someone please tell me if this latest date is possible or maybe just a screwup by amazon?

Like someone else said maybe it is just best to stop checking for updates. This new date infuriated me when I heard it. I think I`m just going to stop following it and save myself from some high-blood pressure. Maybe I`ll get it in the bargain bin one day.

LOL-well I just hope they release the game before Im a senile old man!LOL, but I think I might just give up and play other lesser games. I swear they better not do another diabloII Grrr. Maybe I should just play civ3 just for a little while longer. Oh bytheway people to keep urselves amused go check out this site www.magewar.com -thats an awesome online game, its helping me from going absolutely nuts but until then. It is probably best to wait until the game goes gold before trusting any of the release dates from the different companies due to sell the game.

I was at the mall today and checked EB's book on release dates, it said late january, i think it was the 28th

Yeah, this has been discussed before. To sum up what somone else said companies that sell things have to hedge their bets a little bit. So if a product may not be ready by a certain date they then consult the experts to give them a good guess as to when it might be out if it misses its published release date. So what Amazon or anyone else other than QS or IG says has very little meaning.

So the long and the short of it is that it will be out when it is out. Which probably will be before the end of the year or I miss my bet.

Oh, if anyone knows who first said what I paraphrased above please let me know so I can give him proper credit.

Gonegold will have the only useful date, and the only one that has any guarantee of accuracy at this point.

Gonegold was the best for that, but Rich has been MIA with health and now moving. Hopefully he will be back in the groove after the move is over and he is settled. I miss it as the place to go to see what is out and what is gold.
