	Unofficial Political Party Census Remove this text

For informational purposes, I ask that everyone who can vote do so in this poll. The purpose behind this is to gauge how the Senate is divided according to Party affiliation. If you do NOT belong to a Party, you're probably going to want to vote "independent" so you aren't lumped into the potentially wrong category....

This poll will be open for awhile, so everyone gets a chance to vote.

This should all be pretty darned self-explanatory. There is no middle-ground, you are either one or the other. (So there better be only 5 Labor Party votes since I know everyone who's in it!)

Looking at those three choices, it's obvious what the colors should be:

Hawks: Brown
Labor: Red
DIA: Blue

At least three no-party parties have been founded here since the game's start. If I remember correctly from looking back through the 60 pages or so of threads, they were started by notyoueither, Skywalker, and someone else. All of them failed for the simple reason that the entire concept is ludicrous.

I remember those. They were nice spammy threads for a while; then they promptly died out.

Don't worry, I don't plan to start an no-party party anytime soon.

Ah, yes.... the party dedicated to "not use party politics".

As I think Kloreep suggested above, that thread became little more than a spamfest... primarily people chiming in to make fun of the entire concept.

Due to Kloreep's joining the Labor Party, there are now 6 registered members of the Labor Party. Since he was a former independant, the final statistic will list -1 independent from the end result.

Arnelos have the DIA accepted any new members recently that might effect the stats of this poll?

I know a number of the DIA member (GePap, Sean, etc.) are either busy or unavailble right now due to the holiday season. I'm not worried about the numbers above

Not really. the above poll represents party affiliation among ACTIVE players. I'd admit that a full half of our party list isn't terribly active all the time, much like the vast majority of the independents. So all parties are still dwarfed by the independent population... as it should be
