This is the turn Reporting Thread for the "Dawn-Of-Time" game.

Players are, in turn sequence,

Pggar - Indians
Panzer32 - Chinese

Game Type: PBEM (Patched to 1.14f)
Game Mode: Standard
Turn Timer: Slow (has no effect in PBEM Games)
World Size: Standard
Barbarian Activity: Roaming
Land Mass: Continents
Water Coverage: 70%
Climate: Normal
Temperature: Temperate
Age: 4 Billion
Difficulty: Regent

No AI Players

Game Rules:

Allow Domination Victory
Allow Space Race Victory
Allow Diplomatic Victory
Allow Conquest Victory
Allow Cultural Victory
Preserve Random Seed

Please Note: I am away from home from Wednesday 18th Evening until Saturday 21st - So I MAY be unable to take my turns between those dates .

Remember Guys: I am unable to take my turns this week from Wednesday night, thru to Saturday Morning - I am away visiting family. I am negotiating with a friend to substitute while I am away, but if he cannot, the game will stall for a few days.

EDIT: Franses has agreed to sub for me while I am away. The game continues !!!

I'm having trouble with the save you sent me Col.

When I try to load it, I get an "Load Error" message: Not a valid save file.

I have the patch 1.14f.

After you have checked the save, try zipping it and sending it to me once again.

I loaded you up the save that I sent you with no problems. I have resent it in zipped and unzipped form.

Opens with a screen mentioning me first, then when you click the next screen it opens with a prompt for you to enter a password.

If you can't load game directly (from the load game selection) then try this

At the PTW welcome screen Double Click Multiplayer
Click location until "Local Games" is selected->(this can take a few seconds)
select Host
On the Multiplayer Setting Screen
select Game Type > PBEM
select Game Mode > Load Game
Navigate to your .SAV file

I already tried opening the file through mp lob, and it didn't work. The worst thing is it crashed my game right after the message of not valid save file.

I'll try this. I'll start a game and the I'll send it to you. If it crashes there, there's a version incompatibility.

Do you have any instant messenger so we can speed up this process?

Edit: The last file you sent worked. It was bigger than the others.
BTW, the level when I loaded is chieftain. I guess that's the famous bug. Lets hope the real ai level is different form the one marked.

Many things go wrong trying to play this game.

This time the problem is it asks me for a password for England. I have checked all the posts I received from Coldark but did not find a password. If anyone of you knows this password please mail it to me.

I did receive the password but if you guys think that we can finally continue with the game I must disappoint you. If I enter the password I get access to the Chinese ??????
