I'm having the EXACT same problem ... civ3 edit works fine, civ3xedit gives me a "Microsoft vc++ runtime library error"

Anyone have any idea what this is about?

I have the same problem, I think.. I get a runtime error, then Abnormal program termination.. BUT is doesn't say anything about the Vc++ stuff.. ie. I don't know WHAT causes the problem ..

The original Civ3Edit does NOT work either for me (the exact same error message)
