A quick Picture and situation for the war.

We somehow (got tired and were Techwhoring RP) and didn't take note of the direction of movement of the Engish Forces. THey have now blocked out route into Stuttgart & Berlin.

We have 3 very large Groups of Germans that are in the Hills & Mountains, close to Hamburg. We did discuss possible plans for them, but we need someone to research the mechanics of the MPP more thoughly (i.e. what we can and more importantly, CAN NOT do to get them to Activate).

If we are attacked by the Germans on our own soil, the MPPs will all activate.

If we are instead attacked on German soil, they will NOT activate.

I'm not sure what happens if we are attacked by the Germans in neutral soil, but there doesn't seem to be much.

The Germans pillaging our territoy would be considered an attack and activate the MPPs.

We need to get those MPPs activated ASAP, even if it delays the invasion of Germany.

Do we have an obsolete expendable unit with a higher attack factor than defensive? If so we can station him on the mountian tile 2 tiles south of Hamburg in our territory which the Germans won't be able to resist attacking.

FYI
It's going to take until next turn to get it done, this turn to move the 1 Native (or 2 Slaves) to road it. We'll want to have them protected, ot it will be for not. Then next turn it will get roaded and you can move 2 Natives (or 4 Slave) in to RR it.

That removes one of the major advantages of this plan. We will still be able to deny the Germans of their luxuries and resources, but we will be giving them a single turn to begin building military units. Once a city begins construction of a unit, denying the necessary strategic resources from it will not stop the building process.
The idea was that we cut off Berlin during the first turn of war to deny them the chances to prepare for our attack and toughen up their military.

In 1.29 I've had MPPs activated by the enemy ENTERING my territory, they didn't have to attack or pillage anything.
