Why do I like those stupid chat room posts so much? Maybe it's because I frequented chat rooms a lot when I started using the internet.

Maybe it's because they're a sub-culture of the internet sub-culture, with their own language, terminology, and ideology. Maybe it's because they're right at the fringes of society - where innovation takes place and the future is born.

Maybe chat room posts just involve less thinking than real posts.



I suppose you understand the implications of this conversation. A Free Drone (who may or may not be a government operative, I haven't decided yet) is planning something to do with foreign embassies and government things on Mars. This is the kind of thing that starts wars!

Yes, I'm back...I had to go because this past year has been horrible for me. I've been pretty messed up for a while, but I'm back again. Unfortunately, my home internet connection has been cut so I'm only able to use the university's internet connection....and seeing as how the semester is almost over, I don't know when I'll be able to post regularly again....but yes, I'm back.

(and i haven't graduated from college yet, but Spring '04 should be it for me)

So....how's everyone doing?
