True, British women are awfully ugly, hence the high rate of homosexuality in the island.

Suffering from ads?

.........um.......

.........err.........

.........it seems that during the early 30s extremely small quantities of Mk1 were indeed purchased by the hellenic army. A photo of a trooper during Venizelos coup in 1935 is shown wearing a British helmet. BUT the Italian 1933 model entered Greek service in 1937 and replaced the steel helmets in all the combat units. The Mk1s(which i stress were extremely small in number) and adrians were thereby used only in auxiliary units. In particular Adrians were used by the artillery and the Mk1s by the medical corps.

In 1944 the army was issued brand new Mk2s to be replaced in 1948 by the American model.

So while theoritically fairline was correct about the use of Mk1s by the Greek army the unit drawn is still wrong.

And Molo should know better me thinks......

Ehm, I intended to create a standard G-50 so anyone could use it for his own scenario. The image I've taken from Blood & Steel had the fascist logo on its wings; otherwise I'd have added this specific version. If you could show me that symbol I'll promptly substitute it.

I'm now noticing the initials on this image; they states "StS". It was you that created this great improvement?

Oh no that wasn't intended towards you at all. I had just realized that the Roman Air Force symbol hadn't been used in Blood and Steel, I realize your unit was meant to be the historical Fiat aircraft.

@ Justinianum: I think I could help clear out this one. I only put that 'StS' sig to that unit when I tweaked it a little but. I didn´t want to offend you or anyone else but you seem to have missed to put your sig on. If you do so (after adding Nemo´s sig, of course) I will replace the files of B&S, of course.

Ehm, my friend, I fear that the history of this Fiat G-50 thread is full of misunderstandings. I decided to create this unit after seeing Nemo's Macchi MC200 (that is very similar to the Fiat): I needed this unit for my scenario, but I wasn't satisfied with Nemo's design, so I decided to make an heavy modification. I saw that Jim took my design for Blood & Steel, giving a more appealing aspect to the plane: I was impressed by his work and only then I realized how many mistakes I've made in my first drawing. But, at the same time, I realized that I could improve the G-50, basing myself on Jim's work. I haven't added my signature just because my new G-50 is the result of the improvements made by several persons on each other's design: every apolytoner who has done even a little tweaking has contributed to the final design. That's why I haven't added my sign, don't worry .....and I think someone could improve it once again

No problem at all
I was just meaning that I could have realized a B&S version too, if someone could have provided me the Roman Air Force symbol. I just wanted to say: "if there's a Roman Air Force symbol, give it to me and I'll add it. So this unit can be used for B&S (and I would be honoured )

OK...

My apologies for being dragged into the OT spam jamboree...

To bring things back to business, here are some new units I am working on...

These seem like modern units, but the scen they are from starts in 1979...

Yes, actually I'm using and old version of Photoshop. Now I'm experimenting with different dither settings. I'll post the results as soon as I'll finish the camouflages of my brand new SM-79.

To tell the thruth I'm not very fond of your version of "svastika"; I prefer the traditional svastika shield (although I know that historically the arms are rotated by 45°)

If you somehow find a use for that unit, which in its self is pretty useless, (I only teaked it for fun), then feel free to change the shield .
