little question,
is save and reload in Pbem games cheating or not.

I think it is, because you can increase your chances of winning a battle.
Example
A 1A1V noinvet militia attacking another militia on grasslands has a 50% chance of winning the battle.
But if you save and reload this chance is 100%.

The only solution I see, is to increase the hitpoints for decreasing randomness and possible sav'n try cheats.

Yes we did but this typr of cheating was accepted by the group.

But if you save and reload this chance is 100%.

It's 75% if you are willing to play the turn once, 87.5% of you are willing to play the turn twice, 93.75% if you are willing to play the turn thrice, etc.

for clarification, I dont think thats what was being discussed before. At least in my eyes I was debating the side of replaying attacts on a city turn after turn untill you had enough units to crack it, or some other objective. I think replaying battle by battle or tactically is not good, but I dont mind strategic relaoding.

BTW, is "Load Game" supposed to be greyed out in my File menu? It always is when I am playing mutliplayer.

you have to exit and then start from the main menu, its microprose telling you that you shouldn't cheat, but we won't stop you from cheating
