Heart problems? Remove this text

I'm a bit worried right now. I can feel my heart pounding in my chest harder then normally.. or I'm not sure if it's my heart or just a muscle in my chest.

It doesn't go with my pulse at all. My pulse is quite normal, maybe a bit fast though. And I can feel my heart and it does not go steady pum pum pum.. it goes pum pum... pum pumpupmupm badada pum pum.. it doesn't hurt at all, but it feels strange and a bit scary.
Do you know what it could be, is this dangerous or what? it's not synchronized with my pulse at all. Please, if you know anything, reply as fast as possible.

Nah.. definitely not chest muscles.. definitely my heart. No pain what so ever, but oh boy I'm not comfortable right now with this thing. It's 2am already, and closest place I could go to show it is not exactly near. Should I be worried?

Suffering from ads?

Typical finnish doctor BS! 'When did it start?' 'about 15 minutes ago' 'aah, don't worry, not heart attack or you would know it already' 'Ok good'. I mean jesus. And then 'well don't bother coming here.. it's a long drive anyway and it's nothing too serious... I think'. I'm all rage, but I afraid to rage right now. Typical.. I mean what good is free health care if that's all you get. I want to be sure, I want them to check me out. NOOOOoooooooooooooo.. and he left me with conforting words 'if you start feeling lots of pain, call 911'. Thanks a lot, I'll be suing your ass if I get a heart attack now you filthy lazy ****er.

But you're only 22 (23?) - unless you have a particularly grotesque diet, you can't be in trouble, can you?

Full PM-box? Change here!

Yeah I'm 22. I don't have grotesque diet. You know my friend died this summer, his heart just stopped and he was just fine too. That doesn't mean mine is doing the same, but I feel pretty uncomfortable with this right now, and the doctor won't even see me, he'll see me tomorrow, if I decide to go there.. Or in a case my heart stops beating, then he will see me after I drive there.

I think I'm not dying right now, so that's a small relief. Though I don't know if my heart has some problems because it's doing this.. what ever it is, I'm angry with my health care right now! 'Uuh mamma my finger is bleeding'.. well FU my heart is beating like 3 legged crazy horse dancing who got shot in the butt.

thank god it stopped. I think this is not serious then, but I'll definitely have this thing looked at by a real doctor.
I'm still angry at my health care. Nothing wrong with 'well come here anyway, and let's check it out, just to be sure'.. most of all for me to be sure and have a good night sleep. I hate them now. I think I should refuse paying taxes because it's not getting me anything.

Sorry I'm late, but did you count your pulse? It's very easy to do. You can either count for a whole minute, or count for twenty seconds and multiply by three. ( Hey, who has a whole bloody minute to waste on countng a stupid pulse. ) If the rate is between 50 and 100 beats per minute that's normal. If the rate is between 100 and 130 that's a little high, but it could be because you're excited, scared, feverish, or just exercized. If it's higher than 140 and you don't have a fever, just exercized, or had a fight with your significant other then it is possible that you have some sort of tachyarrythmia, but don't worry, at your age a simple EKG and a physical exam would pick up most of the serious causes. I'm not going to recite the various types of tachyarrythmias here and now, it wouldn't help you. You should make an appointment to see your doctor, but don't worry, the vast majority of incidents like this in someone your age are benign.

Other possible causes of a rapid heart rate are: caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, drugs, panic attacks, dehydration, sleep deprivation, and fatigue. It's also possible that you've been hexed.

Yep, the doctor agreed to see me today. He didn't bother with tests of course.. typical. Anyway it shouldn't be anything serious. I don't know what that tachy-thing means, but he said I have typical problem, that my heart sometimes just starts pounding randomly fast, and that it's not dangerous, and it's mostly like due to stress.
I think I'll demand tests (maybe I need a gun, beucase he wasn't co operating with me really), so I can be sure, and I read from the reliable source of information, the internet, that it can be dangerous when I work out, so we need to test that.. but it's unlikely to be dangerous even then. And that there's medication for it, if it bothers me often... yeah like I'm gonna get medicated even if I want to and bring money to the table.. Hhah!
Sorry I started this thread, it was just that I was worried and didn't know what to do .

Telling a Greek to stop drinking coffee and smoking cigarrettes is like telling older Italian woman to stop growing moustaches. Pointless!
