	Prepoll: Use of Mentuhotep Increase Your PM Length

Okay, here's the bill I want to propose for sending our new GL to Loveshack and having him rush Universal Suffrage:

Most of the posters so far seem to favor using him on US (and Loveshack hasn't spent any shields on its current project), but go ahead and debate his use here if you disagree. There isn't much to argue about on the wording.

Maybe it should include the part about changing The Forbidden City's build to Wall Street.

I would say have The Forbidden City switch to the Palace and wait for another big Wonder as we can always build Wall Street.

1) We can't switch the Forbidden City to the Palace because Ghengistown is locked into wasting its shields on the Palace. (Not my call- I tried to prevent it but was overruled)

2) The consensus of our Executives have declared this is the ONE and ONLY GL we will get in the German/Roman war. Heck, they said we weren't allowed to have any GL's in this war.

3) Since we can't do anything with the Forbidden City's shields we could use him to rush the actual Palace somewhere.

It's our consensus not to take the risk of losing ToE to a change in the current build at G-Town. We try to get GL's and we did Succeed, this time. He might be the only one this War, or we might get 7 or more. But something like this isn't counted as happening on Turn X or Y, but we try to get it.

It's a Risk that we can not take at this time.

As someone else pointed out earlier, we can shift the build in The Forbidden City to Wall Street and NOT lose any Shields. We are covered in that respect.

I've just thought of something :
We have Scientific method next turn. If we switch Ghengistown to complete ToE, it would need 6 more trns to complete (rough estimate, it might be 5 or 7). Johncnunn told us we'd get electronics once ToE is done, allowing us to build hoover dam.

My project is :

1280 AD
- We rush Universal Suffrage in Loveshack
- We switch Ghengistown from palace to military academy (3 turns remaining)
- We switch Forbidden City from US to Palace

1285 AD
- We switch Ghengis town from Mil. Acad. to Theory of Evolution, and we wait for it to be completed.

As soon as we get electronics :
We switch Forbidden City to Hoover Dam (there shouldn't be any wasted shield)

For some reason, in my save, Forbidden City doesn't even show Wall Street in the building list, even in grey. Edit : oops, I don't know how, but I manage to overlook Wall Street in the building list twice E_T is right, it is possible to build it in Forbidden City. But I still don't think it's the best option.

What do you think of this ?

Because The Forbidden City has the FP, you can NOT build a palace there, the game won't let you. Good Idea though.

I'm sorry, your right. I keep on looking for the Palace to be grouped with the other BIG stuff, like wonders, etc. But it's between the Mil Units and the regular Improvements.....

I don't know why you can't see the Wall Street build choice for TFC, Its right between the Mil Acadamy and the Intel Agency....

Are you using 1.21f?

Although, it would be nice to have Wall Street now and not until after Tessagrad has built it's Factory. Hoover would take the same amount of time as US and we might still get another GL before the War is completed, only the Banana knows for sure.
