	Lithuanian presidential elections: voting ended Tired of ads?

Voting on Lithuanian President and municipalities ended 1 hour ago.
Tommorow early morning (Lithuanian time) votes should be counted, I will inform you more about the ending.

Rolandas PAKSAS - second place

Short info on major candidates of 17 available:

Valdas ADAMKUS - current president, former emigrant to USA, led the nature preserving agency there. Former member of Center Union (Center political branch)

Rolandas PAKSAS - acrobatic pilot, was two times mayor of Vilnius (capital), two times prime minister (both times resigned). Member of Liberitarian Democratic party (slightly right)

Artūras PAULAUSKAS - former prosecutor, in second round of 1997 elections lost only by 1% of votes. represents Socialliberitarians (slight left). Current he is parliament director.

Vytautas ŠERĖNAS - popular TV show star, candidated as a joke to make fun of presidential elections

Vytenis ANDRIUKAITIS - represents leading socialdemocrats (hard left), but is not the most popular candidate of that faction (the most popular - prime minister - refused to candidate).

Well, votes counted still not ended... Results should be clear in 2:00 AM Lithuanian time, however they will be recounted so final results will be known after 3 days or 5 days, while municipalitry election results - after 7-8 days. In January 5th there will be second round.

3.Juozas Edvardas PETRAITIS (very strange, cause nationally this candidate got only about 2% of votes)

Socialdemocrats went quite angry - they now insulted Rolandas PAKSAS as being "ultranationalist fascist using Hitler attributics". The only prove why he is - is because his Liberitarian Democatic party uses eagle as it's symbol. So what, American presidents are fascists? PAKSAS is probably farther from Hitler than Socialdemocratic leader himself... Not only that Socialdemocrats started attacking Paksas on all fronts - representatives of Socialdemocrats said the same things on 3 TV stations...
