Toronto — A wind-surfing Santa took an unintended ride Sunday when strong winds took him across the Niagara River — and the Canadian border.

The Canadian man was promptly arrested in Buffalo by the United States Border Patrol.

For 18 years, fitness instructor John Fulton has donned a Santa suit to sail across the river at Christmas. He said he performs the annual stunt in support of the homeless.

Mr. Fulton usually departs from his home town of Fort Erie, Ont., and arrives back at shore on the Canadian side.

But stiff winds and currents pushed him to the American side of the river and into the arms of U.S. border guards.

Mr. Fulton was taken into custody, then shipped back to Canada after he agreed to sign a form stating he had illegally entered the United States.

When we were moving back from California, our large moving van was stopped at the border at the Canadian border guards demanded to be able to search it.

The ****ers took virtually everything out, leaving it on the ground, then when they were done looking for all those drugs were smuggling in in a United Vanlines moving van ( ), they just said "okay" and walked away.

United had to call in some guys and spent until the early evening hours putting it all back on so it all fit.

Down with Canadian border guards.

The United States lets in a terrorist who willingly but wrongly filled out his entry forms and then eventually he crashes a plane into the WTC however they promptly ship out an innocent canadian who accidently got on to the american side because the winds turned against him and force him to sign a form that says he got in illegally?

*******s! When the cops searched our car for drugs, they not only put everything back, they folded everything up nicely for us. I was floored. We got the vehical back more straightened up than we had left it. Backwoods Missouri cops have some serious manners. Hell, after the ruckess we caused, they even invited us to come back (but without the LSD next time).

The whole thing sounds ridiculous...but they can't make exceptions. They're just trying to be safe. If they don't search certain people because they think they're innocent, sooner or later someone will get through.
