	First Hearts of Iron Multiplayer Game Signup Suffering from ads?

Well, now that enough of us seem to have HoI, and it has been decently patched, we should start up a multiplayer game.

Anyone interested?

I'm definitely up for a game. Course, it'll be a couple days till I get broadband (DSL), so it probably wouldn't be a good idea for me to play until then.

Good luck with the UK. I'd imagine multiplayer would be a nightmare with all of those convoys you have to manage.

Practice against the AI is useless. Play one or two run-throughs just to get the feel of it, and hop into MP.

As an example, I played Germany in the long campaign the other day, furious/very hard AI setting, and by mid-1938 I have conquered Poland, France, Belgium, Holland, Hungary, Austria, Denmark, Czechoslovakia, and England. All with no allies, by the way.

I'll give it a try in the future... I'm a bit aprhensive about how the game will play multiplayer, though. (I've never tried EU MP either)

I almost picked it up today, but Silent Hill 2 made me halt in my purchase.

So I didn't get anything.

Is it really a good game? And how improved over EUII is it?

Have you played MP against anyone with a dialup connection? Is dialup totally not worth the effort to even try? The reason why I ask is I do not have DSL/or any other type of broadband connection. Just dialup.

If anyone else has any experience please chime in.

BTW - it's been a month now since I picked up HOI and I'm still loving it. I can only imagine how difficult and challenging it must be to play against a human.

Honestly, dialup is just too slow for a realtime game. The lag would be atrocious.

Dialup is bad news for HOI...

I'll be good for a game in a few weeks... I can't seem to play any MP from this internet connection, which makes me sad.
