It’s only been Christmas for ten and a half hours, and already one of the neighbours has had a visit from the police. I feel surrounded in the warmth of Christmas spirit and joy... or maybe its just the fact that the temperature is almost 30C already .

Oh well, from somewhere hot, dry and surrounded by tension, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

ive had a good day. i pulled it together knowing i had to make a happy day for my kids .and in the process i cheered myself right up ..... i lit all the candles and played christmas music and we decorated christmas cookies and made cheese balls and ate shrimp cocktail and cheese and crackers and played games .... the house smells so good... and my kids gave me lots of hugs ....... my daughter is asleep now and im having a glass of wine and im about to wrap presents and take bites out of the cookies and apple we left for santa and the reindeer
