I'm not sure it will go with my country. I value civil rights above all else. But I'm also a supporter of business as long as it does not infringe on rights. I do like to make money. I am putting in an application now. We'll see if I like it.

I'm also curious what it will do for my country. Does anyone know?

OOC: You get to vote on UN resolutions and endorse delegates, but you have to obey the resolutions no matter which way you voted.

I am in the UN, because I think with 34 nations, Apolyton can have a lot of clout. We can change it, it is democratic, so I have no ideaological problem with it, and because my 1st aim, world peace, especially nucleur peace, is much better serviced in the UN. If we let the UN stay right wing, the the world will stay right wing. If we choose to argue, to debate, and to join the UN, we can make it a more caring and compassionate world.

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

The United Nations has proven in the past to be an extremely useful forum for change and direction in the world. We are in the great position of being able to have influence in the UN if we choose so because of the size of our region. I feel it is too good an opportunity to not pass up, bureaucracy be damned. World War II was proof that ignorance of the world around us brings all-too-fatal consequences.
