A Neu Dem scout contacts the Madrid Expedition

Neu Demogyptica offers us Masonry. Togas ordered me to offer them 29 Gold and hit "accept". We'll see how they respond to the deal next turn. We have chosen NOT to offer them alphabet at this time because we'd rather techwhore it to GoW, Lux Invcita, AND Neu Dem all at the same time (since they're all together).

T.E.G. travels west and finds water to the west (unknown if a lake or an ocean)
Madrid Expedition travels northeast
Magyars travel southwest and see some Ivory to their southwest

Madrid's WF changed from #3 (cows) to #20 (wheat)
Madrid's production changed from warrior to temple (placeholder/shieldbank for spearman)

Settler travels west

We need to string along Neu Dem for several turns to see if we can't get contact with another civ first and techwhore alphabet before Neu Dem can.

Eventually, we do want Masonry and another tech for Alphabet, but buying Masonry for 29g is perfectly acceptable and probably right around market price for it.

Note: I chatted with Nimitz again today. Legoland is working on Pottery right now. They've already learned Bronze.

All of our explorers made great finds. The biggest dilema in my mind is what to do with TEG.

Got it, I'll work on a Big map soon and post it here.

Send T.E.G. north along the coast, and let GoW know that we are headed that way....

We can't trade maps until map making, so we should get as much of the lay of the land as possible.

Or send him south and then back east, to help fill in the gap. We likely passed a hut or 2....

If those are the choices and knowing what we do about techtrading between other civs, it's a safe bet that he'll tell us we're retarded
