Are computer (PC) games dying? (Time out:0 days after 28-12-2002, 19:15)
Yes.
No.
If more games would feature bananas, I would play them!

How did it play viz the PC version?

Full PM-box? Change here!

There were differences, it was more basic but I don't recall the specific. There were a few things that bugged me. The processer on those things weren't much. The graphics were cartoonish.

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

Actually, I was wondering if the controller helped or hindered... but if it was a simplified game, then maybe the question is irrelevant.

Suffering from ads?

It hindered. The directional control is 8 direction so that wasn't a problem, but there are alot of commands in the game that got convoluted. The learning curve was a pretzil. Getting the hands to do the right thing took time. I was very happy to get back to the comp, but it was better than nothing. When I needed a Civ fix it was there.

I've played Civ1 on SNES before, it was harder than heck to play, and was slower than molasses in a Minnesota winter.
