Just received PTW and want a bit of PBEM action.

Good point. The only reason I am not is that this is my first PBEM game and I didn't want to screw anything up, I would rather start playing in a game and get a bit of experience and then host other games.

I would suggest changing climate to wet, which gives you more rivers...........

4 players = standard map
6 players = large map

Take warm climate, it gives less annoying tundra squares.

What's wrong with tundra? Sometimes it is the only terrain I have that has oil.

OK thanks for the moderation. Yeah it also is nice to have someone who set up the game not be playing for various reasons...

edit: I just did a check. It is kind of difficult to set up the game and not be the first player, but it can be done. You just have to find out what civ name they want to use and their password they want to use.
