Hey Gatekeeper,

I heard the Foreman grill is the bomb.

How long does it take to cook up the meat on that thing?

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Ted:

I'm not sure, since I haven't opened it up yet. From what I've been told, though, you can cook a nice big burger in five minutes or less ... and watch the fat drip away.

One of the local burger joints I go to now and then uses a grill that's like the George Foreman grill. According to the proprietor, it means a 1/3-lb. burger contains only 12 grams of fat ...

Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

my blood pressure is so low I should be dead.

And I eat plenty of salt.

I don't think salt causes high blood pressure. I think it is stress and genetic history.

If you were serious...
You remind me of 100 kg stupid Finnish drunk 40-year old men.

That logic is so ingenius.

Suffering from ads?

TMM:

I have no idea what percentage he's starting out with. All I know is that 12 grams of fat in a 1/3-pound burger with mustard and ketchup on it isn't bad at all compared to burgers at McDonald's and Burger King, which range from the high teens to mid-60s for fat content (a Double Whopper with cheese has 65 grams of fat alone).

Gatekeeper,

Do you know if you can cook the meat from a frozen state in that grill? That's my big thing, I have to be able to heat it up from a frozen state without thawing it first.

Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

George Foreman came up with the best invention ever!!

I'm just using this space to show my appreciation for the GF grill. . Speaking of, I think I'll cook up a chicken breast or a burger later on. With my hot and spicey pickles really kicks ass.

Inflate your Upload Space

A freakin' bun-length hotdog has %25 of the RDV of fat for a person needing 2000 calories a day. Toss in a little chili and some cheddar and you're good for the day. But I love my chili-cheese dogs. Gues I have to cut down to one instead of two (let alone three).

I hope so. I do it all the time You might lose some flavour- but I'm not sure. I'm not a flavour expert. The most flavour will probably come from using meat that was never frozen. Just buy it fresh and throw it on the grill.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Everyone loves it. Wish I had one, but first an electric griddle for making pancakes and a pasta maker.
