	City names Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

As you probably know, we have many cities which have never been renamed, and are using the computer's default :

- Chartres
- Rheims
- New York
- Avignon (officially renamed Los Alamos)
- Dijon (to be kept)
- Heliopolis (officially renamed Ferropolis)
- Antioch
- Tarsus
- Susa (officially renamed El Duderino)
- Brundisium
- Also, our new city "Heroes' Summit" has a placeholder name, except if we want to keep it

Any ideas on how to rename these cities ? Current ideas so far are :

For Heroes' Summit : Equine Sacrifice - Cavalry City - Cavalry Memorial - Cavalcade - Heroes' Temple

For Dijon (if we really want to rename it) : Dejon - Mustardtown

In General : Skywalker - Yavin - Coruscant - Corellia - Jedi Temple - Trash Trip's Ass - Marcialis

Spiffor, you are right that I would mount a protest against the renaming of Dijon, but I also observe this democracies wishes. If the Senate votes to rename my beloved Dijon, I will concede. The original reason for leaving Dijon as it was can be found in this thread.

In the chat I had several suggestions for Heroes' Summit. They all revolved around the fact that we lost many brave cavalry in order to take the land:

-Equine Sacrifice
-Cavalry City
-Cavalry Memorial
-Cavalcade

How many times must this be brought up? Heliopolis was officially renamed Ferropolis by a Minister as their Minster choice almost 2 months ago. Why do people keep erasing the names of cities and renaming them over and over again?

MSS : at the beginning of the game, it was decided that ministers get to name a city first, then normal citizens get to name a city, picked at random. So YES, according to this rule, you get to name a city right now I think (except if other ministers didn't rename any city).
However, during the 2 months where I wasn't here, it seems the city naming has gone quite chaotic, so I don't know if this rule is still valid

For Heroes' Summit: Soldier's Temple (In that case, I'd suggest building a temple there ASAP )

Spiffor: I've been here on and off, and I don't bloody know what's going on with city naming

Oh, and I'd like to keep Dijon as is, in honor of dejon.

I think Dijon should be renamed "Mustardtown".

As stated, Heliopolis and Avignon were already renamed (twice, actually; once by ministers, a second time in this bill). Susa should be renamed El Duderino according to this bill (IIRC, Ghengis already put this in his orders. Must have slipped through like Avignon and Heliopolis).

And Dijon should remain Dijon. If you must rename it, name it Dejon.

As far as I'm concerned the city name should be, "I don't Give a **** or IDGS" or I DoG ****".

Anyway....that's my opinion.

Ah yes, what about renaming Antioch (or any non renamed city) 'Trippen' in honor of our first prez ?

I think a city named after the Glorious Leader of our Knights should get a city name. After all, we turned the world around and made it ours with the advent of Knights back during the Persian War.

I personally dont care what the cities are named as long as it isnt offensive and can easily be remembered. Btw, how can we have a city named "New York" and "Gotham"??? arent they the same thing.

I just had some ideas. Since we really have to name something after Trip, and since NYE more than deserves a honor as weel, I suggest we rename a city
Trash Trip's Ass". Those familiar with the PtW Demogame will have fond memories of this name

Also, maybe we could rename a city Marcialis, which sounds consistent with our warlike imperialism, and which is the name of a great jazzman as well

Long ago during the middle ages, I asked if a city with Newton's University be named "calculus". I have been away from C3DG for long time due to PTW Demo forum and anohter forum from another website taking much of my forum browsing time. I doubt that I can get a city with Newton's University be named "Calculus"...

As Newtons is currently Residing in the Engish City of London, we will have to ask Ol' Liz if we can rename her City.

Or we can just Annex it and Rename it ourselves.
