I dont think itll need a new Forum though will it? If its going to be played like a PBEM game, just a few topped threads or clearly marked ones would work.

Hmm, a MP DG might work, you could just give every member of the team a function and wouldn't have to worry about elections and stuff (of course, every member would have to vote in just about every poll or you'd get polls with only 1 or 2 votes )...

Well, if you play with 2 teams you prolly need private forums for each team. So subforums of this forum would probably work best, if Markos agrees...

It depends. If you have a small community, you would only need around 3/4 ministers, whereas the larger ones can have anything up to 9. At the beginning of the game you decide what ministers there are and how many.

The CtP2DG has 4: Minister of Infrastructure, Minister of Science Diplomacy and something else , Minister of Defence and Minister of Domestic affairs, plus the president who plays they turn (and his decisions are based on what the public want)

I'm confused on why you need a minimum of 20 people for the democratic game. Is it because it is less of a democracy with fewer people?

You can do it with less, but Markos wants to be sure there is enough interested in it. Otherwise the game might die before it really gets started due to people losing interested (kind of like the CtP World Cup ). It seems that Markos agrees with a comment I made in my first post in this thread:

Well, what's keeping you all? There are still 7 or so people who indicated in this thread that they are interested in a CtP1 Democracy Game but haven't signed up for it yet

If not enough people sign up, there's not a gonna be a game. So sign up now!

Things take a little time here in the CTP PBEM world, Locutus. They will come... eventually! Most players here are very busy with their "real" lives, and don't read these posts that often.

Don't worry, I'm used to that, the CtP2 forums ain't all that fast either. However, most of the people concerned (including you *hint* *hint* ) *have* been online after the thread was posted...

I just did a count and if I'm not mistaken, there are currently 19 people in total interested in a CtP1 Demo Game. There are 12 registered in the official signup thread, so if the 7 people who showed interested here but didn't officially sign up yet would all sign up, we're only 1 man short...
