This is a survey thread, please don't close it. I only want to make this one off-topic post. I won't make anymore tonight.


I'm sorry if I posted too much for some people. So I'm using this thread to find out how many posts people make in a day.

I really can't think of how to make this a poll. So just respond how many off-topic thread you post in, and how many posts do you make in each thread for a 24 hour period.

Again, I must state that the reason my name showed up in so many threads was because I was the only person posting on off-topic!. All the americans were asleep, and apparantly no Europeans were posting. I work swing shift, so I post at weird hours. Please let me know if I post too much, and I'll post less in the future. And this will be the only thread I make today. And I'll try not to make anymore off-topic posts.

Jesus, are you still upset about that screenshot? I just thought it looked kinda funny that your name was as a last poster in so many threads, I didn't mean to imply you're a spammer.

OT-forum: I post about 10-20 times per day in about 5-10 threads.

Note: I thought that the screenshot was quite funny. I've seen similar incidents quite often. It just makes me wonder "are those guys as bored as I am?"

bah, that was what? only like 6 threads? i've probably done that in the OT before, and i ain't much of an OT poster outside the coffeeshop threads. 6 threads or so isn't much damage considering some of the lords of spam that frequent the OT

I have posted so much it is almost embarassing (not much of that in OT though, but enough).

I am about to take a self imposed break. Other things need to claim my attention and Poly is too... distracting.

I think I will return, but I cannot be sure...

You post too much, Dissident? Ah, don't feel so bad. I work the night shift, which means I'm often online during *both* the Euros and American waking periods.

As for posting habits, it's mostly in the OT Forum, Macintosh Civ forums, Community, and the PC Civ II forums. Every now and then I go on a lark and check out the latest rantings and ravings found in the Civ III forums.

I have been quite absent this weekend so I am just back online (except for a brief spell). I don't know how many posts I make a day though, but you will find me online on weekday evenings, and sometimes on a weekend too, albeit sporadically...

I used to post lots in the civ3 forums, but not so much now because it obvious Firaxis isn't gonna change much more.

I did loads in the OT forum, mostly discussing all the crazy stuff you find on CNN...

Now NS takes up most of my post time, in the S&D forum

I'm a strange poster really.

Upon occasion I'll visit 'poly ... I'm kinda busy so not to often (though that'll change when I get to uni).

I usually then nuke an on-topic forum with about 50 posts, proceed to the off-topic ... read a bit ... the occasional post ... and go away.

One time I had a monkey take notes for me in class. I just sat there with my mind a complete blank while my monkey took notes for me. Later my teacher said "Class, I want you to write a paper based on your notes." So I wrote a paper that said "Hello, my name is Bingo. I like to climb on things. Can I have a banana? Eeek Eeek!" I got an 'F'. When I told my mom she got mad and said, "Didn't I tell you never to trust a monkey?"

I think I did manage to have my last name on several civ3 threads at once. Civ3-general. Civ-PTW. Civ-PBEM. Civ- PTW democracy .

I can't say how much I post. It varies. Sometimes I won't post in more than 1 off topic thread in a day- because you guy didn't create any interesting threads . Sometims I post in 10 to 15 threads a day- as was the case the other day (I think it might have been 7 or 8).

As for Civ3-pbem. I post usually in 2 or 3 threads a day on average. Although I haven't recieved any pbem's lately. And I consistantly post in my team forums.

As for Other games, I have been posting more recently. But that only happens when people post about games I have. Usually RPG's.

In any case I will get the final say in this thread. My name will show up last.
