	Inter-region Relations Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

I've been chatting with a few folks and they are wondering about the diplomatic status of our relations with other Civers and SMACaholics in our cousin region CFC.


It has occured to The FIR that they are looking at us as well. Not long ago the Dominion of Romanae moved from CFC to Apolyton. This shows immigration to our region is up, thats good.

However, I must stress that there may be spies among us! We know they speak of NS at the CFC forum. We know they know of us and are a bunch of warmongering infidels! Because of this alarming risk to security the F.I.R.'s Secret Federal Inter Regional Intelligence Agency, S.F.I.R.I.A., has created a puppet spy-nation in CFC, unattached to the UN ofcourse, named (censored by Internal Affairs) . It has learned the following:


-CFC has their own UN Delegate: The People's Republic of Willietopia.
-CFC UN members are actively discussing which proposals their UN delagte should vote for, more than we are.

These are dangerous times! In an effort to stop the escalations of distrust I propose that our UN Delgate send thier UN Delegate a telegram to show our good intentions and promote trade. Via this "Red phone" we may be able to create a detente.

Zoran has already sent good will ambassadors to the CFC region, to sweet talk them into leaving their decrepit region and joining ours. I do not think many more will leave them for us, however I do believe that we could innfluence their votes on UN resolutions.

I have started a thread about UN resolutions, and have gone through 5 pages of resolutions and posted all I believe are appropriate. Would all UN nations please indicate which ones they wish me to support, and give reasons, and I will oblige. I cannot start a new thread for resolutions until we get our own forum. If anyone would like me to support any other reolutions, please post, PM or telegram me and I will have a look and ask if it is supported. However, since it is solely a UN matter, and does not have any impact on any other nation, I would ask only UN members request support for a proposal. It would be unfair for someone who is not bound by the UN decision to decide what the UN should support.

Haoppy New Year to you all, I hope 2003 will hold peace and prosperity for all nations of Apolyton.

My spies report that the UN Delegate in CFC has changed! It is now the United Socialist States of The Government. No doubt this was brought about by unsavoury means....

King Giovanni, I applaud your forward thinking in espianoge and inflitration. However so that we do not work against eachother, I think our puppet spy nations must work together within CFC, lest they unknowingly rub eachtother out.

I concur with Red Jon. The Sovietskii Soyuz must have alternative motives - they claim to be a communist country, but let corporations run rampant and even buy votes. Their bigest concern is the economy and money, not their people.

I wouldn't be surprised if he has his people enslaved, making material products and wealth to ship back to his masters in the region of CFC.

I think the Sovietskii Soyuz are Socialist, however, IMHO, they have made some questionable decisions and accusations. Accusing Akiria of economy mismanagement, due to our decision to not allow corporations to buy votes, and to protect the Dove and not drill for oil. Combined with a willingness to destroy yopur precious forests in the name of monetary gain, seems to suggest that the Sovietskii Soyuz have slightly different motives than they let on. I accept their position, and much of what they do is for freedom and happiness for it's society, but I feel they put too much emphasis on economy, and not enough on happiness and the environment in which they live.

I do think that CFC may be a threat in the future, and The Republic of Tupan is ready to give any kind of assistance to deter this most insidious enemy. I agree with H Tower, take it to the court if you feel the need. I feel Tassadar has misinterpreted 'and must be halted'. The honourable representative from Redfern said nothing of war. However, in the event of an unprovoked attack on the Sovietskii Soyuz, we will intervene. There will be no bloodshed

My spies in CFC have intercepted a message from a certain Nixolnland to an unknown recepient:

From what we can descern, Atrebla is going through a violent socialist revolution which they label as "terrorists". Nixonland supports the empire's conservative governement, and somehow, Matrix Theory is invloved.

We have clear news that the once very powerful Empire of Atrebla is under the attacks of a terrorist organization.

We do not know who is behind this terrist, but it is clear that someone is supporting and supplying them.

That's a big problem since the Empire of Atrebla was very close to the Wine Royal family, and since the Atreblian were the strongest we had peace assured between the two regions, but if the Atreblian Royal family fall, than we do not know what may happen.

We will update the situation as soon as we know something more.
