Here is an article about practices of the Israeli army (thought it would be quite interesting for Apolytoners, thus decided to post it here):
"Israeli soldiers last night beat to death a Palestinian teenager and dumped his body at a gas station in downtown Hebron.
Eyewitnesses said five Israeli soldiers, three Jews and two Druze, ganged up on 17-year-old Imran Abu Hamdiyya, beating him savagely on the head, using the buts of their guns.
Abu Hamdiyyeh collapsed and died while inside the Israeli border police jeep.
Half an hour later, the soldiers, all members of the notorious Border Police Unit, dumped the body of the Palestinian boy at another gas station, not far from the Ibrahimi Mosque.
A Palestinian ambulance was then allowed to take the body to the Princess Alya hospital in downtown Hebron where he was declared dead.
The Israeli army evaded quesions on the subject.
Palestinians and human rights groups revealed earlier this month the criminal practice known as "toss game" whereby Israeli soldiers force Palestinians through lottery to choose the form of torture they must undergo. The torture methods include a gunshot in the leg, a severe beating on the head using rifle buts, or a broken arm.
The Israeli army recognized tacitly the existence of the "toss game" but apparently did nothing to stop it or prosecute soldiers involved in the criminal act.
Hundreds of innocent Palestinian civilians have been beaten to death or summarily executed by Israeli soldiers since the outbreak of the Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation.
The perpetrators are generally never prosecuted or even questioned, suggesting that the Israeli government and army tacitly sanction the murder of Palestinians, as long as the murder is done not in the open and away from television cameras"

Palestine will stop when they will get independence probably or some time after that. Israel will never give independence thought, thus it will never stop.

It is better to be an independent police state (or fascist state, or fundamentalist state for that matter) than to be occupied by a foreign power. I think you should understand that because you are from Latvia. BTW, late Soviet Union tactics (I am not talking about Stalin's Soviet Union, which you (just as me) most likely didn't seen yourself) weren't even such cruel as Israeli ones. Israel massacres innocent people, destroys their homes, tortues them. Kids, infants, women and men -- all are being killed...

Nothing will be solved until there´s a change in leadership in both Israel and Palestine. The current ones have too much blood on their hands. Both people need som sensible leaders and a fresh start.
