I was just wondering why when I log on 'poly now, it says "(Moderated by: MichaeltheGreat)"? Didn't Ming's name used to be up there? I was just curious?

Ok. Ming and Rah had a party w/ some normal apolytoners. Somehow some things happened...crossdressing...but that's not what got their names removed from the shingle, no. Someone got use of their powers and messed with the little people here at apolyton from on high. I don't know whether it was either of them, or what the actual facts were.

Ming did post in Horsies thread, and he still had 'OT Mod' in his credentials. MarkG posted in the Apolyton forum to the effect that they were still mods.

Dissident, why on earth would you want to be mod?

Btw, the SciFi channel is playing Alien in the wide screen version.

A certain thread where you had to guess who the poster was that was impersonating ming. I think after 10 wrong answers a random thread on off-topic was closed. I didn't really participate. It would have been too difficult for me to guess which poster was posting under mings name.

One of my threads were closed only when I said Ming didn't have the sack to close one of my threads

and Ming did post in Reismark's football therad. So I guess he's nto completely in mingapulco.

Who knows what actually went on at that meet. But I'm sure many posters were posting under Ming's name.

And I think I'd be a good moderator. I'm here a lot. And I would keep things under control late at night when sometimes people get out of control when they realize there is no moderator around

I think my moderating would be a lot like Ming's. I can tolerate the occasional silly thread. And I can tolerate the pictures of scantily clad women. In fact I like them a lot. But I would enforce the forum rules (ie no hands covering breasts etc.)

well something happened I think. I just don't know what. They can still post, and they seem to have their titles. But Ming isn't actively moderating right now- neither is rah.

Why would I want to be moderator? good question. Before I was only joking about it. but now I guess I could do it. Normally I don't like moderation. I used to post in forums with no moderators. But I do see the need for moderation in this place. And I would like to keep it a decent place to post. I wouldn't want it to go downhill. But really I just want the best person for the job. I can care less who is moderator- long as he isn't a ****er.
