Just like to clarify a few things with the right people here, as the retard system recently set up makes it impossible for banned users to contact anyone via PM, let alone check their inbox (and I had a recent one coming from a very special mod, hopefully explaining himself). The user “Jimmy Cracks Corn” and myself (Zylka) have been banned by MtG for comments in the OT. It is quite obvious to anyone who reads up in this thread:

…that there is no reason Jimmy should have been banned other than an inflated and possible bruised ego trying to send a message out to anyone who fairly criticizes the actions of one in charge. I can not say the same for myself - my words were directed in a hurtful way.

This Letter is meant for Mark G and MtG. I mean no contempt of DL rules, but due to the previously mentioned PM problems, it seems a necessity to voice a complaint – and this is all that is (barely) available.

hm... Tell me, if someone gets banned pernamently, and makes a DL, and The People Above get to know about that,
is this dl also destroyed?

Also, if someone gets pernamently banned, is his profile destroyed, or is it kind of suspended, so that if He keeps on molesting the "gods" by email or gets their benevolance in another way, He could be returned amongst the living ones?

Did anyone who was pernamently banned retourned?

Yes, the DL is deleted. In fact every DL that is "outed" is deleted.

I suppose a permabanned handle could be released, if the the Powers That Be are benevolent. But I don´t think it´s happened yet...

If you are permabanned you´re allowed back with another handle (after you served your time of course). There is in fact three persons who have been permabanned that are posting in the OT and A/C forum (AFAIK). Boddingtons got permabanned as "Stewart Spink" back in the old days along with "Yo Yo Yo Hey" who is posting under a unknown handle. Those who know don´t tell... And EvC/Evan von Christof (Christoph?) posts under the handle "Thorn".

Those who are more versed in Poly history than I can give you a more thorough response I suppose.

They might, I´m not sure... But since both Boddingtons and Thorn (who both are a royal whining pain in the ass) are allowed to post I don´t think it matters either way. YYYH can´t be worse than they are
